Learning with Libraries

Libraries are the community gateway to an exciting range of learning opportunities, and when we say lifelong we really do mean cradle to grave.

The Learning Centre in Birmingham Central Library offers a wide range of courses and support, including CV services, job library, prospectuses, ESOL and key skills. There are other Learning Centres in libraries across the city. The Matthew Boulton Suite in Central Library offers a range of training opportunities in Creative Arts and Media, Sports and Health, Business and Professional Skills, and Basic English and Numeracy Skills. All our libraries offer up to date information on local and national learning and training opportunities.

Business Insight Specialises in basic business learning for individuals, companies and start-ups. Our programme includes Management Skills, Computer Training and Advice Clinics.
