The following document and appendices provide the background to a three week consultation with schools, academies and free schools in relation to the Department for Education’s school funding reform and Birmingham City Council’s proposals for 2013 / 14 school funding arrangements.

The deadline for feedback is Friday 05 October 2012. Only responses sent by email to fairfunding@birmingham.gov.uk will be accepted.
Indicative Budgets for 2013 / 14
To demonstrate the implications for Primary and Secondary Schools of the proposed changes outlined in the above documents we are providing indicative budgets for 2013 / 14.
Please note actual budgets for 2013 / 14 will be confirmed by Friday 15 March 2013.
