Birmingham Resilience Team

We work together with the local authorities of Coventry, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Walsall and Dudley, to co-ordinate joint risk assessments training and exercises. We also work with a number of agencies and services such as THE emergency services, the NHS, utility (water, gas and electricity) organizations as well as the environment and health protection agencies.

Birmingham Community Alert
The Birmingham Community Alert is available to all residents and businesses in Birmingham for updates on emergency incidents. These notifications can be received on a variety of different platforms such as SMS, e-mail and fax.

Birmingham City Council and the Environment Agency have worked closely with flood-affected communities to support the development of local community action groups.
