Egghill Supplementary Planning Advice

Approved Planning Policies Banner

This document sets out a vision for the regeneration of the Egghill Estate and provides detailed planning and urban design guidance to create a place where people want to live, work and play.

Egghill Supplementary Planning Advice was approved in September 2005. It contains a concept plan and sets out a shared vision for Egghill which includes:

  • the redevelopment of over 500 new homes
  • the creation of a new neighbourhood park
  • a site for employment/commercial uses, and
  • improvements to local shopping facilities

We are currently working with Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust to bring forward new housing in the area.

In January 2014, the regeneration had reached the halfway stage, with around 300 new homes completed or under construction.

The document is available below along with a plan showing the area covered by the proposals.
