The Leisure Card is available, free of charge to all customers. You’ll need a Leisure Card if you wish to use the gym and you will also need to book an induction at one of our leisure centres.
The Leisure Card is a customer loyalty, access and membership card, which enables you to gain points for every pound you spend on certain activities.
Ask for an application form at the reception of your local leisure centre.
Passport to Leisure
For disabled customers in receipt of certain benefits, you may be able to apply for the Passport to Leisure scheme to receive discounts when you use our leisure centres and benefit from certain discounts from certain council venues and other partner organisations.
Also, you don’t have to be a Birmingham resident to take advantage of this offer. Please note, there is a charge for the card.
You and Your Carer
The disabled person and their carer, in receipt of benefit, are entitled to a Passport to Leisure.
You and Your Helper
Only the disabled person is entitled to a Passport to Leisure. The helper is not entitled to a Passport to Leisure. If the helper needs to help the disabled person access the activity, they do not need to pay. If the help also carries out the activity, they need to pay for this. If the helper wishes to use the gym, they will need a gym induction and a Leisure Card.
Groups of Disabled People
For groups of disabled people, a Passport to Leisure Card will be issued to the group leader for bringing in a group of up to 10 people. The card can only be used at one specified leisure centre by arrangement with the centre manager.
Ask for more information and an application form at the reception of your local Leisure Centre.
