This page is known as: www.birmingham.gov.uk/cyptrust

The Children's Trust Arrangements for Birmingham are determined by the Children and Young People's Partnership.

This Partnership is composed of the Children and Young People's Executive Board, whose membership is drawn from partners with a duty to cooperate under the Children Act 2004, alongside a wider partnership Summit that engages all children and young people's partners in strategic planning, service developments and consideration of emerging issues around children and young people.

The Children's Trust Arrangements is the formal partnership between those organisations that have a duty to co-operate under the 2004 Children Act to plan and to deliver joined-up and complete services that ensure the wellbeing of Birmingham's children and young people.

The Children and Young People's Executive Board
Birmingham City Council's Director of Children's Services and the Lead Cabinet Member for Children's Services are required by law to establish, lead and be accountable for these partnership arrangements.

These members work together to develop policy for children and young people in Birmingham and are each accountable for this to their respective organisations.
