The Christmas Craft Market first started in 2005 and has increased in size every year.

Located right next to Birmingham's famous Frankfurt Christmas Market, the Craft Marketgives visitors the chance to browse an entirely different selection of items crafted by local artisans, as well as goods imported from all over the world by local traders.

In recent years, even more stalls have been added on Centenary Way Bridge and out into Centenary Square. The total number of stalls at Birmingham’s Christmas markets is now over 180 – making it the UK’s largest Christmas market.

Stalls offer a huge range of locally hand-crafted items, including decorative ironwork, wood carvings, handbags, toys, musical instruments and organic soaps and cosmetics.

In addition to the crafts, a huge range of locally produced food and drink is on offer to tantalise hungry shoppers, including organic sausages and real ale from local micro-breweries, as well as home made chutneys and cheeses to take home and enjoy.
