Birmingham Mobility Action Plan

Birmingham Mobility Action Plan

The Birmingham Mobility Action Plan (BMAP) presents a twenty year vision for improving transport in the city.

BMAP will reinvent the city's transport system, meeting current and future mobility challenges, to facilitate strong and sustainable economic growth. The plan will change the way that people and businesses think about travel into and around the city. By influencing travel behaviour and embracing technological change we will reduce carbon emissions and improve road safety and health for all citizens.
