Be Birmingham (formerly Birmingham Strategic Partnership)
Be Birmingham is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for Birmingham that brings together partners from the business, community, voluntary, faith and public sectors to deliver a better quality of life in Birmingham.
Birmingham's LSP was first established in 2001. It was then known as the City Strategic Partnership until it became Birmingham Strategic Partnership in October 2004. The BSP finally evolved into Be Birmingham in December 2007.
The new-look Be Birmingham reflects a new era at the partnership which sees it stronger, united and more determined than ever to put the city at the heart of all it does.
Be Birmingham is committed to:
- Uniting Birmingham's family of partnerships to provide a collective response to improving the social, economic and wellbeing of the city
- Engaging Birmingham citizens to inform the Birmingham 2026:our vision for the future, the city's Sustianable Community Strategy
- Delivering Birmingham 2026
- Developing and implementing the vision's delivery mechanism, the Local Area Agreement (LAA)
