Access to Education is about the bringing together of the six teams who work to support children and young people with additional education needs in Birmingham.
These teams are the traded arm of Behaviour Support, Communication and Autism, Educational Psychology, Physical Difficulties Support, Pupil and School Support and Sensory Support.
As an integrated organisation, our mission within Access to Education is to work in homes and educational settings, putting children, young people and their families at the centre of everything we do.
Our holistic approach enables participation, engagement, inclusion and equality of access.

Behaviour Support
Specialist help for children and young people with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties to maximise their potential in the education system.Communication and Autism
Specialist support to children and young people with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.Educational Psychology
Professional psychological assessment, consultation, training and support for children, families and schools.Framework for Intervention provides an environmental approach that focuses upon change within a whole setting to manage behaviour.
