|Green Recycling Wheelie Bins ordered before 31st January 2014 – Important update
The vast majority of customers who ordered their green recycling wheelie bins before the end of January have already had them delivered. Unfortunately, a small number of customers are still waiting for their bins and we apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused to those customers.
These bins will be delivered as soon as we possibly can. Customers will still get the full 20 collections as we will extend the collection season to make up the difference. Again, our sincere apologies to customers affected but please be assured that the delivery team are focussing on doing all that they can to ensure that any customer identified that purchased a bin before the 31st January will have their bin as soon as possible.
You can use the above form to report:
- Your green recycling wheelie bin/sacks have not been delivered
- You have not received the correct number of green recycling wheelie bin/sacks
- You have a payment enquiry
Reporting your green recycling wheelie bin/sacks have not been delivered
If you purchased the green recycling chargeable collection service between October 2013 and January 2014, your wheelie bins / sacks will be delivered after 13 January 2014 and before the service starts at the end of February 2014.
If you purchase the green recycling chargeable collection service from February your wheelie bin / sacks will be delivered as soon as possible but there is very heavy demand in this period – you should get your delivery within 4 weeks from the date when you made the purchase.
If you purchase the green recycling chargeable collection service from 1 May 2014, your wheelie bin / sacks will be delivered within 10 working days.
You do not need to contact us to tell us you have not received your green recycling wheelie bin / sacks until the relevant dates above have expired.
This is a non-transferable and non-refundable service.
If you are unhappy with the quality of the service provided and this is a one-off or isolated service failure we will not consider making a refund.
We will only consider making a refund if there is a total service failure (please refer to Essential Information below for a description of total service failure) or you want to cancel the service within 7 days of receiving the terms and conditions from when the bin was delivered.
Disputing Administration and Delivery Charge for Replacement Green Recycling Wheelie Bin/Sack
We will only consider refunding the £20.00 administration and delivery charge for replacement wheelie bins/sacks that have been damaged, lost or stolen in exceptional circumstances.
You must provide full details of your exceptional circumstances and record them in the Green Recycling Wheelie Bin Enquiry form above.
We will contact to you with our decision within 10 working days.
