Wheelie Bin Enquiry

For all your wheelie bin related enquiries
We have now completed the wheelie bin distribution across the City and over 350,000 properties are benefiting from the use of wheelie bins. If you have any additional requirements or have a specific query relating to wheelie bins please review the information below.

Important notice

Residents who live in any of the 10 wards below are reminded that wheelie bin enquiries relating to property assessments, bin size and additional recycling bins should only be raised after 15th February 2016.

Before raising an enquiry by clicking the 'Wheelie Bin Enquiry' button below, please ensure you have:

  • An online Birmingham City Council One Account as you will be asked to log in to your online account. You can register for an online account here, if you don't already have one.
  • The correct address displayed within the “service location” box before submitting the ‘Wheelie Bin Enquiry’ form. To update your address, simply amend these details in your account. Please log out of your online account and then log back in to check that your address details have been updated.
  • Reviewed the relevant section below and selected the correct enquiry ‘type’ so that your enquiry can be dealt with efficiently.

Large rubbish/refuse bin 6-8 people in household (240 litre wheelie bin)

Large rubbish/refuse bin 9+ people in household (360 litre wheelie bin)

Please Note: We have assessed all properties across the city. Some of which are not suitable for wheelie bins. These households will remain on a sack and box collection service.
