Have you Heard?
Birmingham City Council is now consulting on its draft Private Sector Empty Property Strategy 2013-18.
Like many major cities in Britain, Birmingham is faced with an acute and on-going housing shortage. This gives rise to increased homelessness and housing affordability problems for many people. The strategy aims to bring more of the city’s empty homes back into use to provide good quality, affordable housing to meet that need. To find out more visit our online consultation.
Talk to us about our adult social care services
Your views and experiences of the services we provide for adults in Birmingham are important to us. Whether you are a service user, a carer or someone who is planning on using our services, we want you to be involved in how we improve our existing adult social care services and develop new ones.
We have already started to change the way we provide services. You can find out more about this on our Did You Know? page, which tells you how we are making personalisation work for people who use adult social care services in Birmingham.
|Sharon Muxworthy, manager of the Adults and Communities Customer Care and Citizen Involvement Team, says:
“If we are to continue to improve our services and support for adults in Birmingham, we need to listen to the views and experiences of our current service users and carers, and to anyone who may need our services in the future.
This is why we are keen to hear from you, whether you have a comment, compliment or complaint. Your views and experiences help us to learn how to provide the services and support that best meet the social care needs of people in the city.
If you need support from us to help you share your views, such as an interpreter, please let us know and we will provide that support.”
