Ark Kings Academy and City Kitchen recently combined forces to put on the biggest BBQ the school has seen
On July 14th Ark Kings Academy put on a BBQ that proved a huge success with all. There was music, stalls, activities and food from City Kitchen. All the staff had spent time co-ordinating and decorating stalls which led to a positive atmosphere for the event.
Ark Kings Academy, hosted their biggest BBQ yet which saw 312 parents, 71 staff, Year 7 students and guests attend. The School would like to thank the catering staff for their extra hard work – not just on the day but in the planning and preparation.
The student chefs also showed great enthusiasm and were able to put their cookery skills in to practice – the school were so impressed they will be treating their pupils to a City Kitchen Engagement here at Cityserve HQ.
After a great event all the staff rallied together for a final clean up and put the canteen back in order – without being asked. As they say “many hands make light work.”
City Kitchen said “We love coming out and supporting School events such as the Ark Kings BBQ because we can enhance our relationship with the School, ensure that fun is had by all and provide some tasty food.”
