Tracey Clarke, Client Manager said:

“I am nominating the Catering Team at Swanshurst for the hard work and commitment they have shown in continuing to develop the service during the refit of the new dining room. They have had to be flexible during the build and serve in a temporary dining room across the other side of the school. This was done with 2 weeks’ notice from the school.
The new build completion was delayed so they had to continue to convey food across the school during one of their busiest sales periods the start of term in of September.
They then fully took on board the presentation and merchandising of the new servery and counters, which is always of the highest quality.
They food offer always looks excellent (and tastes even better) and sales are growing rapidly.
The team are continually meeting the challenge of changes to service times and hospitality provisions at short notice.
The next phase, the 1st Floor dining room, is due to commence in May of this year and open in September.”

Annette Tyler, Strategic Business Manager, Swanshurst School said:

“We built an extension to our dining facilities over the Summer Term in preparation for the start of the new academic year. During the build, the Catering Team worked with us to provide temporary catering facilities within our Hall area, ensuring that all students were given a positive dining experience. Since the new area has opened, we have shortened our lunchtime and they have worked with us to provide catering facilities over three dining areas with attention to food presentation and options and the need for a speedy and efficient service. We have been really pleased with the excellent outcome and the proactive way they seek to continue to improve the service they provide for us.”
