My Choice, My Future Programme and Cityserve…..

On 25th October, Cityserve hosted 8 students taking part in the ‘My Choice My Future Programme’.
The students from Ninestiles School An Academy, took part in the 3 day programme, with one student commenting: ‘the 3 days were great fun and I had an amazing experience’ – and all the students said they would recommend our programme to a friend!
Students came to Cityserve Head Office to take part in an interactive session in CityKitchen. The Students were taught how to handle a knife and cut food safely, learnt all about health and safety in a professional working kitchen and then took part in making their own smoothies, pizzas, salads and fruit sundaes before sitting down for lunch in the executive boardroom.
One student enjoyed this day so much he is considering becoming a Chef!
CityServe support education and provide gardening packs and funding to encourage sowing, nurturing, harvesting, preparation, cooking and ultimately eating home-grown produce.
