Buddy Holly appeared at the Gaumont Cinema, Wolverhampton on 7th March 1958 and gave two performances at Birmingham Town Hall on 10th March - an early evening performance at 6.30pm and a later one at about 8.30pm.
a book which he presented to Paul Hemmings, Senior Manager of Birmingham Archives and Heritage Service.
Ian was helped in this project by Geoff Poole and Ron Clements who also came to the Central Library to share their work.
