New! Our new Gymnastics and Martial Arts Centre (GMAC), situated next door to Alexander Stadium, is now open. Please contact reception on 0121 675 8959 for further information.

Alexander Stadium, situated within the Perry Barr district, is Birmingham's premier athletics venue.

The Stadium has played host to a number of top flight athletics events including the AAA Championships and Olympic trials. In August 2006 this venue hosted a two day international meeting where Great Britain competed against USA, Russia and China.

As well as the top national and international meetings, many clubs, regional and school events take place throughout the athletics season. This venue is the home ground to the Birchfield Harriers.

The Birmingham High Performance Centre, opened in 2003, is situated next to the Stadium. The Performance Centre is a state of the art complex that allows athletes to receive the very best training and coaching all year round.
