Neighbourhood Offices
We have Neighbourhood Offices around the city to help you with advice and information.
What is a Neighbourhood Office?

- Benefit claims
- Money worries
- Debt problems
- Housing issues
- Council tax
- Getting a job

and much more. . .
Meeting your Needs
Our staff provide high quality advice and information to help you to sort out your problems. We can arrange for you to speak to an advisor with community language skills.
To help us achieve a high quality service, we have set ourselves aims and promises to you.
Birmingham City Council has 26 Neighbourhood Offices located across the city, to provide a local point of contact. Additional locations are used as surgeries to provide even more convenient access to services.
If you cannot visit a Neighbourhood Office
Why not send your query via e-mail to: adviceline@birmingham.gov.uk or phone Contact Birmingham on 0121 303 1111 where they can deal with all your enquiries. The lines are open from 8am-8pm Monday to Friday.
What is it like inside a Neighbourhood Office?
The offices have a pleasant, open plan design and most have an unsupervised children's play area. A private interview can be arranged on request, although most take place within the open plan office.
